Huge whitetail deer and plentiful grouse await the hunters that venture into the BWCAW. The grouse are not heavily pressured by hunters and these birds don't swing on the cycle as much as they do farther south so this means more birds and great hunting.

The whitetail deer in the BWCAW have the right habitat and genetics to grow into some true trophies. Whether you choose to chase them with a bow or set a big buck into the crosshairs on your rifle scope, some of the best opportunities to get a record-book buck reside in the boundary waters.
